vinylvoyage17 Absolutely stunning album from start to finish! It isn't really possible to select a favourite track, as all have the strength and passion to hit your emotions hard when needed most. As a fellow Scotsman, I'm proud to see an artist fully grasping this musical genre. As many acts of today meander along the middle of the road with their generic nonsense, it's so refreshing for someone to put out real, well crafted and meaningful music.

Fraser in Ayrshire Favorite track: Black Dust.

about

Recorded to analogue tape over 3 days on location within a historical 15th century building in Stirling, Scotland.
Much of the album including its title track were written during a USA road trip from Austin, TX to Nashville, TN via a pilgrimage to the graveside of the late songwriter Townes Van Zandt.
